The Female Gaze: Fashion Editorial Prints

This body of work represents the photographers female gaze through the portrayal of sensual images of women. Her photographs present the notion of taking back the male gaze and promoting female empowerment through a variety of fashion editorials. The work represents the creative direction of the artist with women presented in a variety of studio and natural outdoor settings. Themes of bondage and female struggle are present in the work. Ideas about veiling and unveiling, and the objectification, commodification and condemnation of the female form are also explored.
